Thailand – Krabi

La province de Krabi est située sur la cote de la mer d’Andaman. Les célébres “limestones hills” sont les monuments naturels les plus connus de la province. Environ 130 iles appartiennent à la province, Kho Phi Phi et Kho Lanta sont sans doute les plus connues, et ont servi de décor au film “the beach” ou a certains James Bond. Cette côte a été durement touchée par le tsunami de décembre 2004.

The province of Krabi is located at the shore to the Andaman Sea. Most notable are the solitary limestone hills, both on the land and in the sea as islands. Of about 130 islands belonging to the province, Ko Phi Phi Lee is perhaps the most famous, as it was the set of the movie The Beach. The coast of the province was badly damaged by the tsunami on December 26 2004.
